Top UK gardens

Summer is here! The UK is filled with so many beautiful gardens. We have compiled a list of just some of our favourite gardens from around the UK.

Stourhead Gardens, Wiltshire

Located in West Wiltshire, Stourhead homes a brilliantly mystical garden. Its grounds are home to small little grottos, many rare and exotic trees as well as the mirror lake. These breathtaking views are described to be a living work of art, and for good reason. The site is owned and managed by the National Trust. Enjoy lakeside walks exploring the hidden temples on the site. Stourhead is great to visit any time of year as the changing seasons bring many different beautiful sights to see.

Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal, Yorkshire

This UNESCO listed site is home to what is possibly the best preserved monastic ruins in the country. Walk through the halls of over 900 years of history or venture out into the incredible Studley Royal gardens. The ancient woodland houses the 18th century water gardens with delightful fountains and statues and the exquisite deer park.

Tresco Abbey Garden

Just off the coast of cornwall is the wonderful subtropical Tresco Abbey Garden. The winter does not much effect this great little paradise. The gardens are filled with tropical plants and flowers which would be unable to grow in the mainland just 30 miles away. There are daily tripper boats to Tresco from the neighbouring islands of St Mary’s, Bryher and St Martin’s, and regular trips from St Agnes so you can visit any day between 10am and 4pm.
