With the summer holidays looming it can be difficult to plan holidays or find things to do with the kids. We’ve got a great list of family friendly festivals for kids all ages.
Our first festival is Chagstock Festival. Taking place on 19th and 20th of July in the beautiful county of Devon. This festival is great for those with a budget too, tent camping on the site is free and so is any admissions to those under the age of 12 on top of this they offer concessions for those with children over the age of 12. Chagstock offers many family friendly events such as face painting and hat making.
Next on the list is Camp Bestival. Set in the brilliant Lulworth Castle this is the place where “kids are king”. Visitengland.com says “fun and games are the staple theme” of this festival. The Jurassic coast is just at your feet as an added attraction. This year features a special celebration to mark the 30th anniversary of the amazing Wallace and Gromit. Don’t miss out on 25th to 28th of July.
On 16th to 18th of August there is a festival designed for those with very young children. Just So gives a great experience for all, with activities including a family film night in an interactive cinema. It also offers feeding, changing and bath tents for babies as well as yoga and massages for parents. This great festival offers relaxation and activities for people of all ages. With arty events and an enchanted fairy city the children will never grow bored.
Lastly on our list of family friendly festivals is Big Festival. This is a food festival designed with children in mind. It was made by the Jamie Oliver Foundation and takes place in Oxfordshire. The 23rd to 25th of august will see world class chefs rubbing up to top class musicians. Join the crowd in the NEFF Cookery School where you can learn to cook under the watchful eye of amazing chefs. On top of these great activities the festival is set around a brilliant fair ground to make a day out with the kids even more exciting!
